For the Birds
We expect a lot from scarecrows. We put them up on poles and they're supposed to work 24/7 for the rest of the season. They stand straight in the blazing hot sun. They sag under intense lightning storms. But no matter what, they're far afield, doing what they do best, scaring off crows. And do we thank them? Not really. We paint pictures of them with crows perched on their shoulders. Ironic, sure but it also insinuates that they're not doing a very good job. On the other hand, we make them into the villains in horror movies. So what are they, the scariest or not scary enough to even chase off the birds? Either way, we'd better give scarecrows a break! Celebrate the end of summer by honoring the scarecrows with this costume. It's not cartoonish. It's not super spooky. It's just a scarecrow who's ready to let his straw down and have some fun! Now that the harvest is in, the crows can take care of the fields!
Product Details & Design
While this scarecrow costume might have left those days in the corn behind, you'll look right at home in the countryside in this Made-By-Us scarecrow costume. It features patched pants and a deep blue top with faux straw coming from the hems of the sleeves and the front. A hood is layered over top, covering the shoulders and circling the face for a burlap head look. It's topped off with the classic conical hat.
