Can you imagine needing to answer the same ultimatum Coraline was given? Moving to a gloomy town, feeling ignored, and missing friends would really get to a person. So, we totally get why Coraline was so intrigued by the brighter, fun-filled, dream-of-a-world Other Mother showed her. But we’re not sure if replacing our eyes with buttons would be worth it. Since she chose reality over the deceptively enchanting Other World, Coraline was obviously on the same page.
However, what if Coraline was given a different membership fee into the exclusive pocket dimension? Maybe a dual-citizenship? Or, perhaps, buttons that weren’t permanent?
Design and Details
We think Coraline would have been willing to hang out with Other Mother if she’d had removable buttons. Give buttons a chance, and see what Coraline missed out on, with our exclusive Coraline Button Eyes Glasses! This Made By Us costume accessory was given a good deal of thought. After hearing that Other Mother would be jealous of a more vibrant color, our clever team on designers chose the traditional black for the 4-holed buttons. Hoping to convince Other Mother that the eye-transplant was performed, the buttons are set in clear plastic frames. We can’t imagine how a bug-in-disguise would see through this disguise!
