The costume itself is amazing. It’s adorable. The problem is that the fan stopped working on day 2 and left me scrambling before Halloween. I eventually learned that if I tape the cord in the right place, and rotate the fan so the connection changes due to gravity, the fan will run adequately. I also learned you can buy replacement fans on Amazon but nothing with 1-2 day shipping! If you have a back up fan it’s great.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Huge hit with all of the neighbourhood kidsBy MP | 27 September 2021
Height 4'8" | Weight 89 lbs | Size StandardI bought both the Creeper and Enderman blow-up costumes and my kids love them. They are not allowed to play in the costumes around the house, so we went for a walk wearing them, which was a nice trial. All of the neighbourhood kids asked where they could get one. These costumes would fit kids from about 4 feet high to 5 feet high, maybe taller. Weight doesn't matter, but the child CAN be too short.
My elder son in the photo is wearing the Enderman costume. It was very easy to walk in this costume, but I had to watch both kids around stairs, etc. They claim that they were able to see fine, but moms, right? He is currently 4 foot 8, and there were still some space to grow. I'm 5'2" and I'm pretty sure that I could have got in there. The taller you are, though, the more likely you'll be able to see the wearer's feet and the illusion is lost.. As you can see in the photo, you can just see my son's sneakers. At his height, though, the costume doesn't drag on the ground, so that's good. The arms are obviously longer than a human child's arms, so the Enderman illusion will be lost a little bit when he holds his treat bag on Halloween.
It's important to secure the ring tightly over the fan in order to keep it firmly attached to the costume. I hooked the battery pack on my child's pants. It stayed secure for the entire walk with no need to fiddle with it.
Bottom line: your kids will love these costumes.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - don't waste your moneyBy Anonymous | 31 October 2022
My son tried this on when we got it in the mail and was in LOVE with it and couldn't wait to wear it trick-or-treating. Unfortunately, when he put it on again tonight to go out, the fan was not working. I tried to jiggle the cord, and it would only work if it was bent a certain way, so I tried to tape it, but it quickly failed. We had to improvise and use glow sticks we had to make him into a stickman instead. He was devastated, and I was extremely unimpressed after spending too much on this costume.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you?
